Lent is a time for preparing for Easter by praying, fasting and giving. This simple 6 week program is a great way to keep focused, draw deeper into relationship with God and to live out our faith through little challenges. Note: I actually can't remember where I sourced this picture from, so if you know please comment and I'll put up the link and the credits.
Here are 7 of the best online Christian prayer websites that I have found. Most are interactive and have a blend of images, audio and written text. |

Lava Lamps Prayer Space
Imagine this: every class in the school spending a whole lesson to creatively connect with God in their own language. With the use of lava lamps, hundreds of colourful squares of paper and huge cardboard boxes - this is what happened at our school during Catholic Education Week (CEW).
The theme was Making a Difference Inspired By Jesus with sub-themes of: community, faith, social justice & stewardship. We set up prayer spaces in the chapel to allow the students to connect with God in different ways, based on the CEW themes and inspired by creative ideas from Prayer Spaces in Schools.
Lava Lamps
Surrounded by lava lamps, students were invited to send their thoughts and prayers upward to God as the lava lamp bubbles rose. They also had the option to write a prayer and place it with the lamps.
