2. Kindness Cards
We wanted to start a wave of kindness flowing through our school and out to the community. So we distributed Random Act of Kindness (ROK) Cards. The idea is to do a random act of kindness to someone and then give them the ROK Card to encourage them to 'pass on the kindness' to someone else. We found these cute free printable ROK cards here! |

4. Primary School Admin Assistance
We know how much work teachers do, so we do what we can to help out. We go to a local school and help out with whatever admin work needs doing (e.g. laminating, photocopying, etc.). By doing this we take a lot of stress off the teachers and indirectly help the children to be educated. We have incorporated this experience into the Senior RE program to give students a 'hands on' opportunity to learn and serve the community. |

6. Buddies Days & Kids Camps with St Vinnies
Students who are 16 or older give up one Saturday per month to volunteer with St Vinnies Buddies Day Program. The days aim to give disadvantaged children (aged 8-12 years) a cost-free, safe and enjoyable day out, away from the routines and influences of their normal home situation. For more info click here. |
